Support Staff
Kris is the resident office manager who's been at Century
Animal Clinic for a really long time! An animal lover since birth, she
has a small zoo at home consisting of 5 finches, 2 cockatiels named
"Yang" & "Zoe", a Peach Fronted Conure named "Komodo",
2 gerbils named
"Squirrel" and "Penguin" and 3 Robo hamsters. Her non-working time is spent
homeschooling her 3 children and volunteering with the Washington County
4-H program.
Abbie has been a
Veterinary Assistant with Century Animal Clinic since 2001. An avid
Schnauzer lover, she owns 3 named "Sophie Mae", "Emma Dee" and "Lucie
Fae". In her spare time, she loves going to the cabin in the summer,
reading, and fishing.
Monique has been
with Century Animal Clinic since 2008 as a Veterinary Assistant. She enjoys horseback riding
and spending time with her daughter.
Danelle started at
Century Animal Clinic in 2010 as a Veterinary Assistant. Her home is
shared with 3 cats, 2 cockatiels, 2 turtles, 2 degus, 1 leopard gecko
and 1 beta fish. When she has time, she spends it volunteering at the
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, drawing and reading.
Jordan is our
newest office assistant. She helps clean the rooms and kennels, does a
variety of paperwork assignments and is great at helping Kris get caught
up on various projects. Her most important job is catering to
"Blossom's" requests. From helping "Blossom" look beautiful with
brushing and bathing, to making sure "Blossom" has a clean cage, full
food dish and sparkling clean water. This is a task not to be taken
lightly as "Blossom's" happiness is of the utmost importance. When
Jordan's not working, gymnastics and 4-H take up much of her extra time.
Rich is our
resident maintenance engineer. When not fixing something around here, he
loves to read, travel and spend time with his 3 grandchildren. He also
spends time at home watching the wide variety of wildlife that make his
yard their home.
Larry, our
custodial engineer, is the cleanest man around! Our floors sparkle from
his touch. When not cleaning up after us, he enjoys being involved in
his church and spending time with his daughter.
Hospital Critters
Blossom, a tortoiseshell Persian, is the resident hospital
cat. She arrived at Century Animal Clinic as a stray on October 30th,
1998. She excels at supervising the paperwork people, eating, exploring
her clinic, playing with her feather toy when no one is looking and
basking in the closest sunbeam.
Simon, a Selkirk
Rex, is another resident hospital cat. He came to Century Animal Clinic
in June 2006. His spare time is spent sitting on top of the kennels
trying to rearrange people's hair as they walk by and supervising the
lab technicians.
Josie, a
Tortoiseshell Persian, became our 3rd hospital cat in February 2007. She
has a fascination with the water faucet and waits for someone to turn it
on so she can drink from it. She is usually found sleeping in her cat
bed on top of the kennels.
Alvin, Simon & Theodore are
3
gerbils who came to Century Animal Clinic in 2010. When not
sleeping or eating, they love to run on their wheel. We think they're
training for the Rodent Wheel Marathon. :-)
